King Arthur Baking Company is strongly rooted in community. Since 1790, it has been our mission to use business as a force for good and to build stronger, healthier communities. To leave the world better than we found it. To dream bigger. To leave a positive impact on people and the planet. We work with nonprofits across the country to positively impact communities where we do business, to give back to those who have supported us along the way, and to advocate for a future that's bright for all.

King Arthur looks to our In-Kind Donations Program as a path to live-out our Core Values while elevating the work and vision of partner organizations. Thank you for this opportunity to be involved!

Guidelines

Who do we give to:

  • We look for opportunities to support organizations that work to fight hunger, food insecurities, and address issues facing our environment.
  • In addition, we are continually inspired by our employee-owners’ passions and do what we can to support the myriad causes they give their time to champion.
  • While we would like to support all that is good and worthy, please understand that because of demand, we often must decline.

Who we don’t give to:

  • Because our support is cause-related and most of it goes to 501(c)3  nonprofit organizations, the following will be declined: teams, athletes, bands, sponsorships and financial solicitations. Often times, inquiries of this nature aren't considered charitable and do not align with our giving program.

Where we give:

  • We focus our in-kind giving in our local communities in Vermont and New Hampshire, which we define as a 50-mile radius from our baking center in Norwich, Vermont. Out of state requests will be declined. Donations are coordinated for local pick up at our baking center location in Norwich, Vermont.
